Dinner time!!!!
My first tatties of the year, "1st early Rocket"
I had them in the tunnel for around 14 weeks, not sure how much difference it made?? my other 2 tatties are only 2-3weeks max away and they have been grow outdoors.
Taste??? Its hard not to get swept up in the "homegrown is best" bullshit!! But these do taste great, Classic new tattie flavour,Light soft skins, not as nutty as Jersey royals.
Looking like around 6kgs from 25 seed.
Very happy, I would grow them again.
